The Company was founded in London in June 2012 and continued programmes originally set up whilst inSouth Africa. The Company has a long history of involvement in sport in South Africa, mainly in Rugby Development Programmes in the Townships in KwaZulu Natal.
The Company Directors also have been actively involved in the management of Sport Programmes in South Africa and other European Countries. The Company Directors also have extensive experience managing programmes within International Events like the Olympics and Paralympics, FIFA World Cup etc and have been involved in programmes like that since 2003.

Danita Beetge's Company provides RDJ Sports Development with Public Relations support, especially writing and event management skills. She also promotes the United World Games in Africa and the United Kingdom, as well as other key events the Company are involved in, in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Over the past 11 years Beetge’s career offered her the opportunity to consult to organisations in 5 countries on 4 continents, thereby using the skills she gained to contribute to the successful delivery of 8 major event projects. Prior to her journey through Major Events, she pursued a career in the communications industry that included every aspect of public relations and event organising since 1998.
Rakau is our USA Programmes Consultant based in Los Angeles, USA who manages all relationships and programmes between schools, Universities and clubs and RDJ Sports Development Ltd, as well as assisting with marketing the United World Games (UWG) and China Stars Events. Rakau, originally from AlexandraTownshipin South Africa, grew up playing football and then got involved in Cycling, which opened the doors to a sports exchange programme, and gave him an opportunity to travel and build relationships across the world. His passion is youth development and in 1995, was successful in establishing the 1st youth shelter for street children and youth at risk, in Pietermaritzburg.
He was introduced to rugby in 1997 and went on to play for the Sharks B team after only 1 year of playing rugby. He relocated to the USA in late 1999/2000 and continued to play Super League rugby in Chicago,Philadelphia and Washington DC. He is now based in Los Angeles and working on getting the USA programmes up and running iro Sharks Academy Elite Course, Full time Sharks Academy study and community programmes, as well as Summer and Spring Camps for Talented players in the USA and also marketing the UWG in Austria and China Stars of Beijing. We welcome Rakau's expertise to the Company where we know he will make a massive difference to the Communities he is working with in the USA.
Charles Mofokeng has represented his province in Rugby & Basketball and gained valuable expertise through Rugby Coaching and administration. His main specialities are Managing and Co ordination of major sporting events, Planning organising sport conferences and seminars and networking with corporations iro sourcing Sponsorships. Another speciality is working in clubs from previously disadvantaged communities, Organising events and Project management.
He has good inter-personal skills and good financial management skills. He also has been part of the organising committee around major events such as the Cricket world cup and FIFA World Cup and has a good understanding of Protocol systems & procedures.
Charles assists the company with administration, marketing and operations in the KZN Region for RDJ Sports Development and will assist with liaison work in other parts of South Africa.
Andy is a qualified teacher by profession with a degree in Sports Science and is currently studying for a Masters degree in Elite Performance. His experience in the teaching profession has seen him build a successful summer school business with his partner and has since expanded into running school trips.
Andy has worked for a number of professional rugby clubs for the past seven years during which time he has developed his network of contacts. This network can be used to fully benefit his clients in their professional careers.
Having coached rugby to a provincial and international standard, he not only is an administrator of sport but an active practitioner. This knowledge and unique skill set across both the educational and sporting world means that you can be safe in the knowledge, that your needs will be met and will be looked after to the highest standards of professional care.
Andy currently assists the company with Coaching expertise in Lithuania, as well as arranging all programmes co-ordination in the Wales Region.
